MG Hector
The MG Hector facelift was launched in India. Prices start at Rs 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom, all India). This is the first comprehensive update for the Hector SUV, which was launched in India in June 2019. The model will be offered in four variants including Style, Super, Smart and Sharp.
Engine options for the Hector Facelift 2021 MG include the same 1.5-litre petrol engine, 1.5-litre petrol hybrid engine and 2.0-litre diesel engine. A six-speed manual gearbox is standard, while a DCT and CVT unit is offered exclusively on the petrol engine.
MG Gloster
MG Motor India is expected to launch the Gloster SUV as the brand’s third product in the country. Produced by SAIC Motor’s sub-brand Gloster, the SUV is a full-fledged SUV that will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4 and Ford Endeavour.
In China, the Gloster is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 221bhp and 360Nm of torque. This engine will be offered with a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission.
MG ZS EV
The 2021 MG ZS EV has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model is available in two variants, Excite and Exclusive, priced at Rs 21 lakh and Rs 24.18 lakh respectively.
Compared to the previous model, the 2021 MG ZS EV gets an updated iSmart system with Hinglish voice commands. This technology enables the vehicle to respond to over 35 Hinglish voice commands that control various vehicle functions like opening the sunroof (Khul Ja Sim Sim), turning on the radio (FM Chalao) and setting the AC temperature control (Temperature Kum Kardo).
